By Rail: Has a railway station (code: TNM).This station is located on the Katpadi–Villupuram line and falls under the Southern Railway zone of Indian Railways. By Air: The nearest airport is Chennai (MAA) and Pondicherry (PNY). Chennai has a well connected domestic and international airport while Pondicherry has air connections to Bangalore and Hyderabad.
